In 1982, the practice became known as Townsville Pathology Laboratory. In 1998 Sullivan and Nicolaides Pathology acquired a significant share holding of Townsville Pathology Laboratory. In 1999 Sullivan and Nicolaides merged with Sonic HealthCare.
Consultant Pathology Townsville
Drs Peverill, Lau, Fitzpatrick and Martin commenced practice in January 1981 at Ashdon House Northward. In 1982 Drs Fitzpatrick and Martin left the practice and Dr Henry Lau became the sole resident pathologist.
